Tourism in the North East is made up of four independent organisations, or partners: Northumberland Tourism, NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Visit County Durham and Tess Valley Unlimited (more detail below).
These partners work closely together, as well as with national and international tourism bodies and associations, to promote the region to visitors and to facilitate tourism businesses to access research, training, business advice and marketing opportunities.
All partners support this Tourism Business Toolkit website as the main information resource for local tourism businesses. The main regional visitor website www.visitnortheastengland.com is aimed at visitors to North East England, with each regional partner operating their own visitor facing websites as well.
