2011 Award Winners

The winners of the 2011 North East England Tourism Awards celebrated in style at a sensational ceremony at Sunderland Football Club's Stadium of Light 

Over 40 businesses from across the region competed for the coveted awards and were treated to a sumptuous dinner in glittering surroundings as finalists 'waited on tenterhooks' for the winners to be announced.

Winners in a number of categories will automatically go on to represent North East England in the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2012
