Visitor Trends

'Visitor trends' monitor visits North East England.  We need to know what they do when they're on holiday in the region, where they go, where they visit, as well as how much they spend and how good a time they have.

This information is crucial for being able to develop the region to attract higher spending visitors who want to stay longer, spend more, as well as encouraging new business and development.

Information is used to inform marketing campaigns and identify areas for development. Local Authorities also use the information to invest in improving the visitor experience through feedback on areas such as signage, public toilets and car parking.
